4. Who Can Receive Services?
Age range
13 – 30 years of age
Type of psychosis or disorders
First Episode Psychosis or any of the following that suggests a person may be at developing psychosis:
- apparent changes in behaviour, thoughts and emotions
- family history of psychosis
- recent deterioration in daily functioning

5. Do I Need a Referral?
No, self-referral is accepted, as well as referrals from healthcare professionals.
6. Intake Description
Upon receiving a completed referral package (referral form and collateral information), EPI will contact the referring party within two business days to confirm receipt. The referring party will be advised of the next intake meeting, which occurs throughout week, depending on the operations of each clinic (Vancouver, Richmond, Coastal). The referring party will subsequently be advised of the outcome of the intake process within 1-2 business days. Appointments with referred clients normally occur within 5 days of acceptance to the program.
